How LED wall hire works
Most people booking a wall have never hired one before. Here's the whole job, start to finish.
-
You book online
Pick a wall, give us the venue and dates, pay by card. You get a confirmation and the slide template pack straight away.
-
A producer checks the room
Within one business hour we call you, and then the venue, about power, access and where the wall sits. If anything needs to change we tell you then, not on the day.
-
You send content
Use our templates so nothing is cropped, or bring a laptop and we'll bring the adaptors. Add our content build if you'd rather hand it over.
-
We build, run and strike
3–6 hrs in with spares on the truck, 1 hr out once the room clears — the bigger the wall, the longer the build. Bump-in and bump-out days are never charged.
What we need from you
The venue and its address
Tells us the distance, the dock and usually the power situation.
Your dates, and how long it stands
Event days only — we don't charge for the day we build it.
What's going on the screen
A laptop, slides you send us, or content you'd like us to build.
Flat floor or raked seating
On a flat floor the bottom 500mm sits behind people's heads. That's a riser, and it's better to know now than on the day.
Common questions
Do you do outdoor events?
Under cover, yes — these walls are indoor, ground-stacked, and the screen isn't weather-rated, so inclement weather may mean we can't install and a producer will confirm that with you. Fully open-air is a different build; call us.
What if the venue can't give me the power?
In most cases we'll bring a generator. It's an add-on, and we'd rather sort it a week out than at bump-in. Most professional venues have suitable power as part of their offering, or sufficient circuits that we can easily provide small and medium packages.
Can I run it myself?
Yes — plug a laptop in and go. If you'd rather not think about it, add an operator.
How late can I book?
Online up to 3 days before your first event day. Inside that, call 1800 733 456 — we often can, it just depends what's on the truck.
Something gets damaged. Then what?
With the damage waiver — 5% of the hire, GST inclusive — your liability is capped at a $2,500 excess per claim. Without it you're liable for the full repair or replacement. Either way the gear is your responsibility while it's on site, including overnight.
