Bring your own processing and leave it off
Bars, skis and spares are included in every configuration. Controllers are charged separately so you can bring your own processing. Panels are VuePix GX2 at 2.9mm — the same stock we install ourselves.
Prices are per hire, inc GST, collected from our Macquarie Park depot. Longer than seven days, outdoor stock or a flown rig — call 1800 733 456.
Before you dry hire
The same wall, both ways
A 20-panel wall — the 4m × 2.5m — over 2 event days in a Sydney CBD function room. Dry hire is only the gear; the truck, the crew and the processing are yours.
- Panels, 2 days, trade rate
- $4,118.40
- Controller, 2 days
- $700
- Truck and fuel, return
- $260
- Two crew, build and strike
- $450
- Dry hire, all in
- $5,528.40
- Same wall, installed by us
- $6,490
On these figures dry hire comes out $961.60 cheaper, once your own truck and crew are counted. What you take on with it is the risk: a dead panel at 4pm is yours to solve, and the spare in the case is the only one on site. Dry hire earns its keep when you already have the truck, the crew and the processing on the job.

What we need before gear leaves
- An ABN, and the hiring entity's legal name.
- A current certificate of currency for public liability, and cover for the equipment while it is in your possession.
- Demonstrated LED experience — the walls you have built, and who for. We are handing over panels, not a crew.
- A nominated person on site who can be reached on the day.
